Mansi Sinha Roy

Research Audiologist

Dr. Roy is a clinically trained audiologist who earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from the New York Au.D. Consortium (Hofstra University, Adelphi University, and St. John’s University) and completed her fourth-year residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Her clinical and research experiences span academic medical centers, university clinics, and private practice settings, providing a strong foundation for translational research at the intersection of auditory neuroscience and clinical care. Her primary research interests include auditory memory and neuroplasticity, tinnitus, pediatric hearing conservation, and personal sound amplification products (PSAPs). Through her research and clinical experiences, she has explored mechanisms of auditory processing and neural adaptation, with the goal of improving diagnostic and rehabilitative approaches for individuals with hearing and auditory disorders. Dr. Roy’s current interests focus on auditory neuroscience, electrophysiology, and the clinical applications of objective auditory measures. She is particularly interested in intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring and the expanding role of audiologists within multidisciplinary medical and surgical teams. Her long-term goal is to advance research that bridges neuroscience and clinical practice while expanding opportunities for audiologists in medical and surgical settings.
